If you confess and believe that Jesus has come, died and risen again to set us free and give us eternal life… Then you MUST disciple others with this message by building relationships on and off the field that will allow you to share that hope that lives within you to impact people’s lives. Train yourselves to be godly… and train others to be godly!

Desire: To long or hope for

Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Discipline: Training that corrects ones character

2 Timothy 2:5 An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

Determination: The act of decided definitely and firmly

Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 9:25 You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.
